Belle da Costa Greene

Belle da Costa Greene was J.P. Morgan's personal librarian and one of the most prominent librarians in American history. Of African American heritage, she passed as white to succeed in her field, building one of the greatest collections of rare books and manuscripts. Featured in "The Personal Librarian."
