Daniel Hawthorne

Daniel Hawthorne is a former detective who now works as a private consultant on murder cases. Brilliant, abrasive, and secretive, Hawthorne is exceptional at solving crimes but difficult to work with. He hires author Anthony Horowitz to document his cases. Hawthorne is divorced, has a complicated past with the police force, and keeps his personal life intensely private. His methods are unorthodox but effective.
