John Tomasetti

John Tomasetti is an agent with the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) and Kate's love interest. He is a skilled investigator with a dark past - his family was murdered by a criminal he helped convict. Tomasetti is intense, dedicated, and often assists Kate on her most difficult cases. Their relationship develops throughout the series as they both confront their demons.
