Carl Mørck

Carl Mørck is a brilliant but troubled Copenhagen homicide detective who is reassigned to Department Q, a cold case unit in the basement of police headquarters. Cynical, grumpy, and suffering from PTSD after a shooting that killed one partner and left another paralyzed, Carl is initially resistant to his new assignment. However, his exceptional detective skills and determination to seek justice drive him to solve the most difficult cold cases.
